Emily

My name is Emily Olsen, and I have been at Pixie and Prim since November 2024. I started my hair journey in 2019. I grew up in North Muskegon, Michigan but moved to Grand Rapids in 2023. 

 

I am very passionate about doing hair. I fell in love with the industry the minute I started. It has always felt like a hobby versus a job. Blonding is my favorite service to do, or anything that involves color. I am open to any service, and I try my best to accept every client’s request. I am in my little happy place behind the chair. My favorite part of my job is making people feel confident and uplifted when they leave. 

 

Outside of the salon, I am a server at Rose’s on Reeds Lake. I have a passion for helping and providing for people in a positive way. You can also find me at the gym during my free time. I have been an athlete my whole life, so I strive to continue a healthy lifestyle. I also love spending my spare time with my family. I am the youngest of two older sisters, and we have two beautiful golden retriever boy dogs at home and one male cat.

 

I am accepting new clients, and would love to have new faces in my chair to help me continue to grow my business. I am working all day Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I have a personal online booking system, or contact me and I can get you scheduled! I am so excited to have you!
